COVID-19: How To Prepare For Your Online Exams

The online assessment of the board is just around the corner. Do you have too much time to study? Already in Stress and Panic? These are ten tips on examination preparation that are useful to any student who prepares for the exam.

Preparing for an examination can be overwhelming even if we have a lot to research but limited time. Although few people learn better and faster with a proper plan to learn, many others are less able to study and focus the findings.

1. Build A Research PLAN

Set up a research plan before you start to select a book. It not only helps you keep a proper study plan, but also gives you a better image of what needs to be done and when.

List the names of subjects and topics, figure out each topic objectives, draw the number of days before the exam and strategically assign them to each subject, arrange hours a day, schedule group study time and breaks, etc.

After a research plan, a great deal of time and energy is instantly saved, and thus unknowingly worrying and panicking would go away.

2. Organise your STUDY Room

When in an appealing and pleasant setting we can concentrate and work at our best. Find the best location in the home, hostel or space where the sun and the fresh air are brighter and quiet.

Less noisy spaces are the best room to research consistency. Unplug as much as possible space from unwanted objects to prevent disruptions. Turn off your mobile phone or travel when you are studying.

Different individuals have various behavioural preferences. Some people may prefer to sit on a chair and read on the table while others may prefer to sit or walk with the book as they study. Find and coordinate the best system and room that best fits.

3. FOLLOW A Balanced DIET

Good eating habits contribute to healthy, energy efficiency and quality. Installing frozen and nutritious food to prevent unnatural sleepiness, exhaustion, or nausea, should avoid eating unhealthy meals.

Drink plenty of water to sustain the body hydrated properly. Nuts, yoghurt and seeds will help hold your attention and memory better.

4. TAKE Frequent BREAKS

When breaks occur regularly, the human brain works best. Researchers have shown that studying with daily breaks for short periods is more effective than studying without breaks for long hours.

It can only be more tired by asking us to learn whether our mind is sleepy or not involved. So, take daily rests, walk for a short time, close the eyes or watch the eyes and mind at a distance to relax.

5. Maintain a proper SLEEP ROUTINE

In sleep, the human mind and body rest to recover strength and energy by finishing their normal cycle of metabolism. Some people may wish to research late in the night, while others may prefer early in the morning to check which day time best fits, plan and maintain an acceptable sleep routine. A health expert recommends good sleep for 8 hours.

6. READ ENTIRETY & MAKE BRIEF NOTES

Careful reading is necessary to learn all subjects. Read and check with other authors ‘and sources’ details. The ability to recall our brain to remember what we learned by enhancing the flow of our research process improves with short notes.

7. Go Through Previous Exam Question Papers

We can pass through question papers from the past years once we have finished the review of the targeted curriculum or topics. It not only makes us know how ready we are for the test, but also gives us the opportunity to research the essence and form of question papers. It makes discovering strategies simpler to find the answers to each question that are most relevant.

8. REVISE AGAIN

Anyone who appears to exam must revisit it. It will help you digest the knowledge learned in more depth, be it a week before or before the test.
