For the first time since 2016, Colin Kaepernick returns to Madden NFL video game

Colin Kaepernick has returned, not to NFL, but the leading video game in the sport.

EA Sports today revealed that Kaepernick would be featured for the first time since 2016, the year he played in the NFL, in this year’s Madden NFL version. Kaepernick will be the top ratings of the season, with an average rating of 81 of 100.

For the first time since 2016, Colin Kaepernick returns to Madden NFL video game

“EA Sports said Monday in a statement that Colin Kaepernick is one of the top freelance football agents and a quarterback in the starting calibre. “EA SPORTS team, along with millions of fans from the Madden NFL, wish to see him in our game.”

The company said that Kaepernick has been working on getting its person back to the show, including the creation of its ‘signature celebration.’ Kaepernick is going to lift his fist in the air as a gesture of Black power after a big play or touchdown.

EA and Kaepernick’s camp worked together previously in 2018 to address a problem in the Madden NFL 19 soundtrack, in which the word Kaepernick was removed from a song on the title. EA Sports excused for the mistake and called it “unfortunate mistake.”

As part of the San Francisco 49ers, Kaepernick, 32, was the last to play in an NFL in the 2016 season. That was also the year that he kneeled in the National Hymn to protest police violence and institutional racism. His absence of the league has long been a source of resentment for his fans, who think he’s blackballed during the demonstrations.
